Measuring in at 22.2 feet long, 7.5 feet tall, and a whopping 5,000 pounds, the World's Largest Hockey Puck is here in the Capital City of the State of Hockey from December 26-January 5, at the Bold North Breakaway Fan Festival in Rice Park.
Created by Ojibwe-Cree artist Shawna Boulette Grapentine of Warroad, Minnesota, the piece blends Indigenous teachings, Minnesota’s hockey heritage, and the natural beauty of the State of Hockey.
Home to the Minnesota Wild, Frost, and the IIHF World Junior's Team USA, this arena is the anchor of Downtown Saint Paul hosting more than 150 sport and entertainment events, welcoming 1.l7 million visitors each year.
